The Respirer® vs Vinturi®
Just about everyone that drinks wine has heard the term... "Let The Wine Breathe"
Well there's is a new wine aerator in town that stands up to that phrase and it's been deemed as the "New Generation Of Wine Aerators". We recently conducted a month long customer survey in our Wine Bar and Retail Store comparing the Respirer® and the Vinturi® brands.
After all the dust settled... the Respirer® came out as the "Winner" with 7 out of 10 points. The comparison was based on performance, style, functionality and price!
Some of the comments were...
* The Vinturi® brand looks cheap and brittle as it is plastic injection moulded
* The Vinturi® brand has a very small fill bowl and wine dribbled out the huge side air vents often.
* The Vinturi® brand has a rubber base that absorbes wine, it smells of wine gone bad.
In Conclusion ...
The Respirer® won because it is so well engineered it only needs one small air vent verses two oversized air vents. The Respirer® looks more like an expensive wine aerator and it performed better everytime. It's not plastic injection moulded, wine never dribbled out the air vent and it's not brittle. The base is solid plastic and does not absorb wine. The Respirer® retails for $34.95 vs the Vinturi® at $39.95
In Our Opinion...
Buy the Respirer® because it out performs, out lasts, it's better looking and is less money than the Vinturi® brand.
